Jacob Kelley (also known as Trixy Valentine) is a recognized educator, consultant, drag performer, and LGBTQIA+ advocate dedicated to building inclusive communities through education, performance, and strategic change. As the founder and CEO of Mx. Kelley Queer Education LLC, Jacob delivers transformative workshops, customized trainings, and bold storytelling centered on LGBTQIA+ inclusion and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging).

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality at Widener University, Jacob's research focuses on the development of nonbinary identities. They also hold a Master of Education in Human Sexuality Education and a double major B.A. in Psychology and Communication Studies. Their academic background is complemented by certifications in Global DEIB Strategies and DEI in the Workplace, and they are certified sexologists from the American Board of Sexology. 

Jacob has presented at major conferences and universities, including Princeton University, Penn State, Susquehanna University, and the LGBTQA+ Mid-Atlantic and NAFSA Regional Conferences. Their work spans inclusive leadership, student engagement, workplace culture, and rural LGBTQ+ visibility. They currently serve on the boards of the Pennsylvania Trans Equity Project, NEPA Pride Project,  North Central District Allied Connection (NCDAC), and I Picture Hope.

Their advocacy has earned multiple awards, including:

  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Young Professional – Wyoming Valley Region 2024

  • Pride Champion – Northeastern PA from the Rainbow Alliance 2023

  • Maroon and Gold Excellence in Humanities Award – Bloomsburg University 2024

  • Keystone Business Alliance Member of the Year 2024

  • Mx. Trans Pennsylvanian 2025

As a performer, Jacob embodies Trixy Valentine, a nonbinary drag queen known for captivating performances and unapologetic advocacy. Trixy’s drag work has received national recognition for building queer-affirming spaces in rural Pennsylvania. Through drag shows, brunches, and community events, she has brought joy and visibility to often-overlooked areas, transforming local culture with celebration and acceptance.

Trixy has been featured by media outlets such as the Associated Press, CNN, NBC, PA Live, the Daily Item, and Press-Enterprise. She is the author of "Tipping is a Must: 100 Tips for a Drag Show," and has earned titles including:

  • People’s & Kids’ Choice Winner – Dancing with the Stars Wilkes-Barre (2024)

  • Best Drag Entertainer – Susquehanna Valley Region (2023)

  • LGBTQIA+ Advocate & Leader – 2022 and 2023

  • NEPA Pridefest 2024 Grand Marshall 

Whether commanding a stage or leading a training, Jacob Kelley / Trixy Valentine inspires transformation with authenticity, passion, and pride—creating space for others to thrive, be seen, and live out loud.
