Center Library

Centre LGBT+ Library

Our idea for an LGBT+ library emerged from a desire to create space where community members could access information and literature that spoke to their identities and experiences. We aim to provide this space that is not just about books but also about fostering connection, education, and empowerment within the community.

Community involvement has been central to the library's development. Many have contributed to its collection through donations, volunteer work, and fundraising efforts.

Through regular assessments and feedback, our library adapts its collection and services, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful. The Centre LGBT+ library stands as a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives and the importance of creating spaces that celebrate and uplift diverse voices.

Books and materials can be checked out/borrowed for free during open business hours.

A special thank you to Nicole and Kat for their continuing dedication to collecting, researching, and organizing the library.
